4 Fall Fashion Looks That Will Have You Turning Heads

Its official, fall is here! That means pumpkin spice lattes, light jackets and cooler weather! As a busy working mom, I like to keep my style simple yet chic, with outfits that can transition from day to night, while being comfortable enough to play with my children. New York Fashion Week is always an inspiration, and this season I took in Style with EDEN and Essence Street Style Block Party events. However, it’s sometimes difficult to translate what’s on the runway to everyday looks. If you’re in need of some inspiration, check out my fall look book of my favorite cool weather trends in fashion and beauty, and find out where you can snag them!

Off-the-shoulder tops have been all the rage this summer and the trend isn’t showing signs of slowing. I’ve paired this drop shoulder top with skinny jeans and leopard heels. The off-the-shoulder look has been around since the 50’s and seems to go in and out of the fashion scene. With trends like this, you want to always be sure to keep them balanced by pairing them with classic staple pieces and accessories.

Leopard heels are timeless so invest in the animal print and you’ll always be on trend!  I found  these Anne Klein pumps at Macys.

By the way Loves, my hair is styled in beautiful crochet goddess locs you can’t go wrong with this fun protective style.

My crochet goddess locs are very easy to maintain.  I massage one of my favorite oils  such as the SheaMoisture 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil or the Creme Of Nature %100 Pure Argan Oil on my scalp at night and then put on my satin bonnet.  Feel free to add an edge control, like EDEN BodyWorks Coconut Shea Control Edge Glaze, to manage any unruly flyaways at your hairline.  I find it best to keep my hair down while sporting crochet locs, and add a few dainty pieces of silver loc jewelry to highlight the beauty of this style.
