What You Need

  1. Unrefined Organic Shea Butter
  2. Pure Vitamin E Oil
  3. Castor Oil
  4. Avocado Oil
  5.  Coconut Oil

Step 1:

Break the Shea butter into small pieces and place in a bowl. If your Shea Butter is very hard, melt the butter slightly. We recommended doing this by making a hot water bath, then place the Shea Butter into a heat proof bowl on top of the water bath. The heat from the hot water bath should gently soften the Shea Butter.

Step 2:

Add all of your oils into your Shea butter bowl. Then whip away! Keep whipping until your butter is smooth and light.

The beauty of DIY homemade recipes is that you can add any of your favourite oils. You can keep it simple with one or two oils. You can also add lavender extract if you’d like it scented. This is your butter, add all the goodness that you desire.

This butter works wonders on keeping the ends of my hair moisturised!
