My Experience: I soaked my hair under the shower and applied the Karen’s Body Beautiful Ultimate Conditioning Shampoo all over my head. I massaged it into my scalp very well to remove all debris, allowing the suds to run down my hair strands. I rinsed and then repeated. After the 2nd shampoo, my hair was SQUEAKY clean.  After thoroughly rinsing out the shampoo, I applied the Karen’s Body Beautiful Complete Hair Conditioner all over my hair. I finger detangled my hair  and had a normal amount of shedding. I let the conditioner remain in my hair for 5 minutes and then rinsed it out. Finally I used the Karen’s Body Luscious Locks Hair Mask on my wet conditioned hair as a deep conditioner. I applied it all over my head, put a plastic conditioning cap on and then put my turbie twist on my head to keep cap on and to help build up my body heat.  After 20 minutes I rinsed my hair with cool water in my sink.

Fragrance: The fragrance of these products are Lavender Vanilla which is very perfumy. I don’t like how strong of a smell they were. The Karen’s Body Beautiful products that are in Target are of the Pomegranate Guava fragrance and I love that smell so much more.

Results: After using these products, my hair felt very clean, soft, light weight, and moisturized.

Moisture: While the shampoo is called Ultimate Conditioning Shampoo, I don’t actually feel like it was conditioning. My hair felt squeaky clean which of course isn’t a bad thing, but it didn’t feel conditioned. I want to add that even though my hair felt squeaky clean it was still very soft and not brittle or dry. The Complete Hair Conditioner and Luscious Locks Mask are super moisturizing. Immediately you feel the moisture being restored to your hair.

Price: I would consider the Karen’s Body Beautiful shampoo and conditioner to have a mid range price point, while the mask is definitely a higher price point. Some of my favorite products are less than the price of the shampoo. However, most of the products that I’ve recently invested in are within the range of these products.

Final Thoughts: The Karen’s Body Beautiful products are a must try! Not only are these products easily assessable at your local Target, but these products are made with ALL NATURAL ingredients. I mean read those ingredients up above–go ahead and read them. They are all natural. This company truly pays attention to the consumer and what is best for your hair. If that means spending a few extra bucks to ensure that my hair is healthy then so be it!
